Hi friends, let us begin!
The ezine begins with a tribute to Kalidasa, I have read Bengali translation of few of his works and he was one of those writers that made me ache to learn Sanskrit well enough to understand his works! Life had other plans! He is as famous as Shakespeare is in English world and equally or more revered. I have read his biography too, reading one more time is quite alright for me!
Glory days by saptarchi: S speaks out for so many of us through his/her works! What have these politicians done to you Bengal! The glory of India past!
Masai by Brieuc Martin Onraet: Not at all fond of hunters, unless of course they fight with bare hands! So this month’s piece was not fun at all, loved the pix though! Mr. Onraet certainly have lived quite a life!
Vikrama aur betala by Raghunandan Kuppuswamy: great instalment Mr. Kuppuswamy, now I will be waiting for next month to read what happens next! Ha!
Gardens of Sarusammog by Troy David Loy: Another fascinating piece by Mr. Loy, the description of Saru is quite fun, cute and intimidating too!
Never go back by Dom Collucci: Wise words. If only we could turn back the clock! Life is just like that, once you have moved forth there is no turning back! Great words of wisdom Mr. Collucci.
Bitter Pill dose 28 by Bitter Pill: politics 4: Politicians in general are repulsive, don’t know if Indians are exceptionally bad or they all are peas of same pod excluding a few! They really stink!
Clippings by Freya Pickard: This sounds like a great newsletter, I will subscribe or ask Agni to give me her copies!
The shearer by Pat Ritters: Well finally the officer shared the news to the man how he ended up in jail, good thing is he was not imprisoned, just restrained!
Dirkball by Robert Sherriff: cute pic.
In the end I will talk about Agni’s works in short-I have been requested by her to do that, to highlight the work of other authors in Agnishatdal, I will talk about her works in Agnijaat.
Two lovely shots- one from holi and the other one from her photography trip!
In the treats section Agnijaat and Agnishatdal Book 11 links have been provided.
Final life by Andrew Mowere: Fantasy story, will have to check it out and see if I can get a copy to read! The interview with the author was really great as usual. Love to know about the person writing the things!
Love continues from within by Dom Collucci-Love Mr. Collucci’s works, so I am pretty sure the book will be a treasure trove!
Pikatron by Troy David Loy sounds like a great reading material with fractals as added beauty!
SBs’ book in amazon, sounds good! Will be checking on them, maybe grab a copy and critique them too!
Kalkaprasad Maharaj- Never heard his name. How callous we are when it comes to our talents! Look at YouTube it is filled with Western artists and their works! Wish we were like them!
Haunting hour: Have watched a few episodes in YouTube, they are really great! Absolutely loved them.
Hafiz Ali Khan- So he is Ustad Amjad Ali Khan’s father. Will check out YouTube if there is any piece by him.
Youtubia-Frankenstein- Will check out! Thanks for adding a bit about the story.
True Treasure Carl Sagan: He absolutely is!
Golgappa is absolutely delicious! My mouth waters when I think about it!
Minutes Together: this month’s story ventriloquism was scary and tragic.
Loved the Bengali poem and the hindi poem both. Thank you for adding my work in your ezine Agni.
Chandbiwi was in our history book, she certainly was brave and inspiring!
Kamoda- thought provoking story! Can’t say I don’t feel sad for the daitya!
Words- butterflies- do you know someone that does not loves butterflies? A cute pic made the post perfect.
Ponga Pandit- another good tip!
The sketches all through the ezine were pretty!
That is it I guess! See you again next month, and thank you Agni/Sharmishtha for translating my works!
